Eureka & Palisade Railroad

On Monday, September 9, 2019, at 6:00pm, Join us for an evening with author Gregory Maxwell for a lecture about the history of the Eureka & Palisade Railroad. The E&P was a narrow gauge railroad built in the 1870s to connect Eureka, Nevada, the “Pittsburgh of the West,” with the Central Pacific Railroad at Palisade, Nevada. Maxwell will discuss the history of the E&P from its construction in the 1870s until its demise in 1938.

Maxwell’s new book, The Eureka & Palisade: Biggest Little Railroad in the World, was published in 2019 by White River Productions and is available for purchase in NSRM’s Museum Store.
