The Nevada State Railroad Museum and the Friends of the Nevada State Railroad Museum, in recognition of Armed Forces Day, invite all Veterans and Veterans based organizations to participate in a Veterans Free Museum Admission Day Event on May 19th, 2018.
If you are on active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserves, feel free to wear your uniform. If you are a member of a Veterans Organization, please come dressed in your colors. Each Veteran will be given free entry into the museum. Food and beverage trucks will be available for purchase. (Food and drinks are not allowed on the trains or in the museum.) Steam train rides will be available for purchase.
The Service Color Guard from the American Legion Post 56 will be posting the colors at the Depot at 1000, and retiring the same at 1600.
We also invite those Veterans Organization that have displays or booths to come and set up in Gibson Park, across from the Depot ticket office. Space is limited. Adults 12 and up: $8.00
Kids 4-11: $4.00
Kids under 4: Free
Museum Members: Half Price
Museum Admission for adults is $6 children under 18 are FREE
