TRAVELING HISTORY TRUNKS FROM NEVADA STATE MUSEUM, LAS VEGAS

We know that it isn’t easy to arrange a field trip to the museum. For that reason, the museum has created Traveling History Trunks for educators. Trunks are free to use and can be delivered to your school. Trunk materials include touchable artifacts, curriculum objectives, photographs, videos, books, posters, readings, and more. Each trunk focuses on a specific aspect of history and contains artifacts and ideas to help you incorporate them into your classroom. Trunk themes include history of communication, children at school/play, Lost City (archaeology), mining in Nevada, and Nevada pioneers.

Traveling trunks are always in demand, if you wish to donate funds towards the upkeep of these wonderful educational assets, or the delivery of the trunks to Clark County schools, or you would like to sponsor a trunk in your family name or that of a company, please email us on info@nsmlv.org for details
