Michael Thomas is a well-known lecturer whose research is both thorough and broad based. Mike gives 15 to 20 lectures a month at a variety of venues; including seminars, conventions, and community groups. He and his wife Eleanor travel extensively overseas, giving him the opportunity to bring an insightful richness to his lectures. He has compiled a resource list of over 150 History and Science presentations. Mike is the past President of the Western Nevada Astronomical Society, and lectures year round at the Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada College. He is a resident of Reno, Nevada, and grew up at Lake Tahoe. He retired after a long career in law enforcement, and has been on the lecture circuit for the past 17 years.
